DEO Kulgam flags-off Mobile Van for Demonstration & Awareness of EVMs, VVPATs

KULGAM, DECEMBER 15: In view of forthcoming Elections of Lok Sabha 2024, the District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat today flagged-off Mobile Demonstration Van from Mini-Secretariat, here.

Present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmed Giri; Dy. District Election Officer, Bilal Kamgaar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; SDM Noorabad, Bashir Ul Hassan and other officers and officials.

The mobile van was flagged-off for Demonstration and Awareness of EVMs and VVPATs, and shall last up to 29th of February 2024 starting simultaneously across three Assembly segments of the district viz. 38-D.H.Pora, 39-Kulgam & 40-Devsar.

The main aim of this program is to make the general public aware regarding the usage of EVMs/VVPATs , so that voters shall not face any difficulty while using their franchise.

The Demonstration van shall cover all areas of the district.
