The primary objective of this initiative is to go beyond geographical boundaries, transcending social, cultural, and emotional barriers that may have isolated these young minds. By exposing them to the rich tapestry of experiences that the rest of the country has to offer, the program aspires to instill a sense of belonging and camaraderie among the participants.

The ‘Vatan Ko Jano’ tour is not merely a geographical exploration; it is a holistic endeavor to facilitate the social, cultural, and emotional integration of these young individuals. Through carefully curated activities and interactions, the program seeks to nurture understanding, empathy, and a shared sense of identity among the diverse youth of J&K.

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, expressed his optimism about the transformative impact of such initiatives. “This Youth Exchange Program is a testament to the unwavering spirit of resilience and unity that defines the youth of our region. By providing them with this platform, we aim to empower them to become ambassadors of peace, understanding, and cultural exchange,” he remarked.

As the group sets forth on their cultural odyssey, the ‘Vatan Ko Jano’ Youth Exchange Program stands as a shining example of the power of collective efforts in building bridges and breaking down barriers. The echoes of this journey are expected to resonate not only in the lives of the participants but also in the broader social fabric of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

Among the others, District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Rahim; Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Rahul Puri and officials of the Social Welfare Department were present during the event.
