VBSY covers 08 more panchayats of Pombay & Behibagh block at Kulgam

KULGAM, DECEMBER 12: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) expanded its reach to 08 more panchayats of block Pombay and Behibagh in Kulgam to spread awareness and ensure the delivery of government flagship schemes.

The panchayats covered under the Yatra include Aadigen, Gopalpora, Ladgoo Ramhama, Mirhama, Pombay and other panchayats of Behibagh.

In the district, the yatra unfolded as a testament to the commitment to rural development. Each day brought forth a new chapter in the narrative of progress and development.

The activities undertaken showcased a strategic approach towards sustainable development, touching the lives of the people at the grassroots level.

The ADDC Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather along with ACD Mohammad Imran also participated in yatra at Pombay where Officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes.

Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also shared their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless services delivery.

Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities at all the Panchayats of the block in an effort to reach the unreached population.

Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls. IEC Vans were also pressed into service.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has become a beacon of hope, lighting the path towards a brighter and more resilient future for the people of Kulgam.
