SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 10: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, today was held at Panchayat Halqas Chakoora, Chaki Sidiq Khan, Check Chullan, Reshipora, Chotigam and Herman of Hermain block, amid a warm welcome by the locals and PRI Members.
During the programme, the officers of the line departments underscored the importance of bringing Government schemes closer to communities, igniting a spirit of development.
The van displayed a video message of the PM, urging the people to take a pledge to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. The people present at the event took the Sanklap pledge and expressed their commitment for the cause.
During the day several sports events and cultural programmes were presented by the students in these Panchayats who participated in the Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm through songs, dances and skits thereby fostering a sense of unity and celebration.
The people of these Panchayats were made awared of the Government and centrally sponsored schemes in these Panchayats which include, PM Awas Youjna, PM Kisan, KCC, Ujjwala, Umeed, PM Garib Kalyan, etc. meant for the overall benefit of the downtrodden and poor.
