Srinagar, Dec 8: A 25-year-old non-local was found dead at a rented accommodation in Anantnag district.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that one Raj Bahadur son of Shankar Lal, resident of Jalali Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh was found dead inside his rented accommodation belonging to a native near Thak Boni Anantnag.

“Initial investigations suggest that the now deceased person was suffering from epilepsy from a prolonged period”, the official said adding “as such the incident is not in any way attributed to terrorism.”

The body of the person, the officials said, has been taken to a nearby hospital for medical formalities.

Confirming it, a police official told Kashmir Scroll that a case has been registered under section 174 CRPF for due proceedings in this regard.
