Chairs Condolence Meeting in his office chamber

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 07: To condole the sudden and untimely demise of late Shri Ashok Kumar Koul, retired District & Sessions Judge, who left for heavenly abode on 05.12.2023 after a brief illness, a condolence meeting was held in the Office Chamber of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar.

Jawad Ahmed, Principal District & Sessions Judge (PD&SJ), Srinagar led the heartfelt tributes, extending condolences to the bereaved family. He also highlighted the contribution of late Shri Ashok Kumar Koul as judicial officer in various capacities particularly as Registrar General, Registrar Vigilance of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and at various positions during his illustrious career in the J&K Judiciary.

The Officers also expressed solidarity with Tasleem Aarif, Registrar Vigilance, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on the demise of his father, late Haji Ghulam Nabi Ganie, who left for heavenly abode on 04.12.2023.

All judicial Officers of District Srinagar also paid homage to the departed souls.

At the end of the meeting all the judicial officers observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect and homage to the departed souls.
