KUPWARA, DECEMBER 07: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today visited the families affected by the fire incident that took place on the intervening night of 6th and 7th Dec, at Tregam Kupwara.

The DC expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the grieving families.

During the visit, DC assured affected families of all necessary assistance. She expressed gratitude to the community for the courage and cooperation and said that the District Administration stands with the families affected by this tragic incident.

Ayushi also met local authorities, emergency responders, and volunteers who played a crucial role in managing the aftermath of the incident.

Instant relief kits consisting of blankets, utensils and tarpaulin were distributed among the affected families by Tehsildar concerned.

Meanwhile, DC directed Tehsildar concerned to submit the cases for consideration under SDRF.
