Inter District Divisional Badminton Jammu beats Kashmir by 2-1 & 2-0 Sets

Jammu Nov 04: In the finals of Inter District Divisional Badminton competitions organized at Indoor Hall MAM Stadia here, the divisional team of Jammu beat Kashmir by 2-1 & 2-0 Sets.
The tournament was organized under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports J&K Subash Chander Chibber and the able guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Suram Chand Sharma.

While congratulating the winning team Director YSS has said that the Department is committed to channeling the sports talent of J&K youth in the best possible manner and every step is being taken to ensure maximum participation of youngsters in the games of their choice. He further stated that the main aim of these competitions is to select the best players/Athletes for the next level of competition. He appreciated DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma and his team for the successful conduct of the competitions.

Meanwhile, Inter District Division Level Competitions in the sports discipline of Fencing for U/14 & U/17 Years were also organized by the Department of YSS. In these competitions, Daksh from Udhmapur has clinched Gold, Garish Siliver, and Mohit Bronze while as Kaushtabh has also got bronze in U/14 Yrs. EPEE Boys while as in U/14 Yrs. Foil Boys:- Raghav Gold, Udhyan Silver, Shivansh Bronze Jammu while as Sadhvik has also clinched Bronze. In U/17 Yrs. EPEE Boys Rinku Singh has been awarded Gold, Munish Silver, Rohit Bronze, and Lalit Bronze.
