DEO calls for holding sustained activities to promote Electoral Literacy among students

UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 28: District Election Officer, Saloni Rai, today reviewed the Electoral Literacy activities in Educational institutions here at the meeting of Nodal Officers of Electoral Literacy Clubs.

The DC instructed school and College Principals to establish Electoral Literacy Clubs and ensure the enrollment of all eligible voters in the ongoing Special Summary Revision. A report on the status of the enrolled students is to be submitted within three weeks. The DC conducted a thorough review of facilities such as Drinking Water, Electricity, Toilet, and Ramp in proposed polling stations, directing various departments to ensure proper arrangements.
