The job fair attracted considerable attention, drawing a robust turnout from both government departments and private companies/agencies. This collaborative effort established a dynamic platform, facilitating connections between job seekers and potential employers. The event showcased a diverse array of opportunities spanning sectors such as Education, Banking, Automobile, IT, and skilling.

Participation in the job fair was widespread, with youth from different colleges, including ITI institutions, actively engaging in on-the-spot interviews for potential recruitment.

DDC Vishesh Mahajan, addressing the participants, underscored the exclusive nature of the job fair, designed to facilitate employment opportunities for the students and youth of the district.

Throughout the event, DDC Mahajan personally interacted with job providers, inspecting stalls set up by various departments and companies. He expressed satisfaction over the initiative and committed to organize similar events in other parts of the district in the future.

In addition to job fairs, DDC Mahajan emphasized the District Administration Reasi’s commitment to address unemployment through the implementation of the District Skill Development Plan. This plan aims to bridge the gap between the skill levels of the youth and the requirements of job-providing companies. Unemployed youth will receive training to enhance their skills, thereby increasing their employability.

DDC Mahajan expressed optimism about the positive impact of such initiatives on the employment landscape of Reasi, ensuring a brighter future for the youth and contributing to the overall development of the district.

During the occasion, ADC Abdul Star, AD Employment Rekha Bali, and students from various institutions were also present, further enhancing the diversity and engagement of the event.
