Training programme for SMDCs, SMCs held at GHS Gagal Lolab

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 22: A training program, under the SAMAGRA Shiksha, involving School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs) and School Management Committees (SMCs), was on Wednesday organised at Government High School Gagal for clusters Maidanpora and Kuligam by the Zonal Education Office Khumryal.

The program was presided over by Vice Chairman, District Development Council Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir.

CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani, BDC Chairman Wavoora, Ch. M Rafiq Kataria, ZEO Khumryal, Farooq Ahmad Khatana, In charge SAMAGRA Zone Khumriyal, HOIs of concerned Schools, PRIS, SMCS and SMDCs were present on the occasion.

The community leaders were sensitized and trained with various topics including roles and responsibilities of SMC, SMDC, account record keeping and maintenance, inclusive education, Right to Education (RTE), Out of School Children (OoSC), etc.
