Rs.34k fine imposed for violations under FS&SA at Kupwara

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 22: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir who is also Adjudicating officer Kupwara today imposed a fine of Rs 34000, on various Food Business operators (FBOs).

The fine was imposed on the erring traders (for miss branded and substandard food) during the proceedings of cases related to the Food safety and standards Act-2006 which were listed before the Adjudicating officer.
