Release of PM Kisan Installment by Prime Minister: Reasi admin organises Live streaming

REASI, NOVEMBER 15: Department of Agriculture Ramban, in collaboration with the District administration, today organized the live streaming of the release of 15th installment of PM Kisan Saman Nidhi scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Abdul Star, Block Development Council Chairperson Parveen Begum, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Dr. Sarfraz Naseem, Tehsildar Reasi Suresh Singh, Tehsildar Pouni Naresh Kumar, Sub Division Agriculture Officer Reasi Vinod Khajuria, Sarpanches PRI members and farmers of adjoining villages.

Chief Agriculture Officer Reasi Harbans Singh, in his welcome address, informed that 29463 farmers of district Reasi will be benefited by transfer of Rs 5.89 crore through DBT in their account for purchase of different agriculture inputs. More than 8 crore farmers will be benefited throughout India with transfer of more than Rs 18000 crore directly in their accounts.

He said the PM Kisan scheme has already provided significant benefits to the farmers across the country and the latest installment will boost their income and contribute to the growth of the agriculture sector in Reasi district.

The BDC Chairman stressed upon utilization of PM Kisan Saman Nidhi Scheme for purchase of fertilizer seed and other agriculture inputs. Kisan Morcha president Chain singh also addressed the gathering. AGMO Horticulture planning and marketing, Agriculture Officer/ officials and about 50 farmers including women farmers from adjoining villages attended the programme.
