Condolence meetings held at Srinagar & Ganderbal prayed for eternal peace to departed soul, forbearance for grief stricken

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 15: The Principal District and Sessions Judge (PD&SJ) Srinagar, Jawad Ahmad and Chief Judicial Magistrate (In charge PD&SJ) Ganderbal, Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi today condoled the demise of Shri Utam Chand Shukla, the father of Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Judge High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

In this connection, two separate condolence meetings were held at District Court Complex (DCC) Srinagar and DCC Ganderbal chaired by Principal District and Sessions Judge (PD&SJ) Srinagar and Chief Judicial Magistrate (In charge PD&SJ) Ganderbal respectively.

In the condolence meeting held at DCC Mominabad Srinagar, the PD&SJ Srinagar, Jawad Ahmed, extended condolences and expressed deep sympathies on behalf of all the participants to the grieved family particularly to Justice Sanjeev Kumar. The Condolence meeting, attended by all the Judicial Officers of the District and other staff members, emphasized the solidarity and support of the legal fraternity of District Srinagar with the bereaved family at this difficult time.

The PD&SJ, Srinagar, on the occasion shared words of solace, acknowledging the immense loss suffered by the bereaved family. He expressed deep sympathy for Justice Sanjeev Kumar, recognizing the profound impact of losing a beloved father.

At the end of the meeting, two-minute silence was observed by all the participants as a mark of respect and tribute to the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Judicial Officers of District Ganderbal also expressed heartfelt condolences to Justice Sanjeev Kumar Shukla and members of the bereaved family, on the sad demise of his father.

The condolence meeting was convened in the office chamber of Chief Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal by Chief Judicial Magistrate (In charge PD&SJ) Ganderbal, Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi, and was attended by Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, Nusrat Ali Hakak, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kangan, Easrar-Ul Nabi, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Ganderbal, Mehnaaz Qadir & Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ganderbal, Mohammad Waseem Mirza.

The Officers observed Two minutes silence in the condolence meeting and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear such a great loss.
