Five non-local residents were injured on Sunday evening in a road mishap in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

Reports reaching that an accident took place in the Lawaypora area of Srinagar when an Ashok Leyland truck bearing registration number JK01AQ 2301 collided with a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK06B 1513.

In the mishap, five non-local residents were injured and were immediately taken to JVC Hospital Bemina for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed this road mishap to News Agency Kashmir Scroll and identified all the injured as Noor Jamal Haq (26) son of Nimul Haq of Bengal, Afaan son of Anwarullah Haq of West Bengal, Barigul Islam son of Bariq of West Bengal, Abu Tahir son of Talib ul Rehman of West Bengal, and Zahrul son of Abdul Qayoom of West Bengal.
