Kupwara, November 9. In an effort to promote voter awareness and engagement, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara (District Election Officer), Ms. Ayushi Sudan,
District Election Office Kupwara in collaboration with ARTO Kupwara launched a Sticker Campaign as a part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program today which generated overwhelming response.

The campaign is intended to encourage citizens to actively participate in the electoral process and exercise their democratic rights.

The stickers are designed to raise awareness about the importance of voting and encourage eligible voters to register their claims before 9-12-2023 during Special Summary Revision.
At Regipora Taxi stand, DIO Kupwara (Nodel officer SVEEP), Iftikhar Naseem and ARTO Kupwara, Anis Wani along with officials of District Election Office and representatives of Transport Union Kupwara pasted stickers on vehicles.
Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Kupwara reminding audience of their civic duties, said that vote is the most powerful weapon in the hand of people in a democracy and we should actively participate in electoral process to be part of the change that we want to see.
Owners of the vehicles and other commuters were excited to obtain these stickers and voluntarily pasted them on their vehicles to show their commitment to the democratic process.
The initiative is aimed to foster a sense of responsibility and civic duty among the public, ultimately leading to higher voter turnout.
