REASI, NOVEMBER 07: A meeting to review the performance of the School Education department was held today here under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan.

The deputy commissioner asked the Educators to put in extra efforts to complete entire syllabus by 30th of November. He asked to start a test series for board classes on regular basis.

After a detailed discussion, the meeting decided that all the attachments, except on the rationalization basis, shall be cancelled, and teachers would be asked to report to their original places of posting.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Education Officer to furnish a comprehensive report detailing all schools that achieved a 50% or lower pass rate in the last academic session. This directive aims to identify areas that require special attention and improvement in the educational sector.

The DC also took a detailed review of ongoing works taken under Capex by PWD(R&B), SAMAGRA and directed the concerned executing agencies to complete the works in a given time frame. He directed CEO Reasi to ensure that all schools have the required facilities and to ensure cleanliness around schools.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Slathia, ADC Abdul Star, Joint Director Planning Sunita Kanchan, CEO Reasi Sunita Bali, XEN PWD Reasi and Mahore, ZEOs and other concerned officers.
