DC Reasi inspects progress of work on Delhi Katra- Expressway project

REASI, NOVEMBER 06: District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan today inspected the progress on Delhi Amritsar Katra Expressway Project in the jurisdiction of the Reasi District. He also reviewed the status of Land acquisition, besides compensation disbursement to the owners.

The DC Reasi asked to expedite compensation disbursement process of the land acquired for the prestigious project & expeditiously remove hindrances, if any, being faced by project Executing Agencies.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner directed the executing agency to expedite the pace of the work to meet the set deadlines. He asked for deployment of additional men and machinery to complete the important project connecting the national capital to the revered shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra.

The Deputy Commissioner asked residents of Katra and the surrounding areas to extend their full cooperation and support to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in its efforts to ensure the timely completion of a critical highway project in the region.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Director NHAI Anuj Kumar Singh, Project Manager RK Asthana and other concerned officers.
