Stresses for providing better healthcare facilities; interacts with patients, took feedback of services provision

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 03: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb inspected Sub District Hospital Zainapora and took stock of medical health facilities being provided to the patients there.

The DC convened a meeting of health functionaries attended by CMO, Shopian, Dr. Arshad Hussain Tak, BMO, Zainapora and doctors and other staff.

BMO apprised the DC about the issues faced in the hospital. The DC assured them that their genuine issues would be looked into and taken up with higher authorities for early redressal.

The DC also inspected Emergency Ward, Gynae Ward, OPD and other wards and stressed upon health functionaries to provide healthcare services to the patients with utmost sincerity. He also interacted with the patients and enquired about their wellbeing and sought feedback from them.

He stressed on adopting a caring and compassionate attitude towards the patients.

During the inspection, the DC stressed on ensuring round the clock presence of doctors to ensure seamless medical care is provided to the patients.

During his visit to Zainapora, DC also took stock of activities of departments in the subdivision.
