SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 03: In connection with the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week, Govt. Degree College Bemina Srinagar conducted a one-day Inter-College Seminar on ‘Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation’, in the college Auditorium, here.
Principal, Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College (AAAMDC) Bemina, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Simnani graced the occasion. SDPO West, Shahjahan was a special guest among many other dignified guests, faculty and students of city colleges.
The Principal of the college highlighted the prevalence and need to rid society of corruption.
Speaking on the occasion, SDPO threw light on the different facets of corruption and its prevalence at various levels in the society.
Afterwards, 13 students from different colleges of Srinagar participated in the seminar and highlighted various aspects of corruption, its different forms, and the possible ways to rid society of this menace.
Irfana Rasool, Dr. Musharraf Rehman and Alima Mudasir acted as judges on the event.
Fahad Fayaz from Amar Singh College, Fadak Akeel from AAAM Degree College, Bemina and Marya Rukhsar from Women’s College, M.A. Road obtained the first three positions, respectively.
