Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand today flagged off the inaugural run of Train Service No. 14090/14089 between Kotdwar – Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi) – Kotdwar through a virtual video link from Dehradun. On this occasion, a ceremonial function was also held at the Kotdwar Railway Station and Railway Board simultaneously.
Smt. Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Uttarakhand, Shri Anil Baluni, Member of Parliament – Rajya Sabha (at Railway Board), Shri Tirath Singh Rawat Member of Parliament- Lok Sabha, and Dr.Ramesh Chandra Pokhriyal Nishank Former CM Uttarakhand and Member of Parliament- Lok Sabha were also among the guests of honor on this occasion. And a number of other dignitaries were also present.
Time Table of Train No. 14090/14089
The train no. 14090/14089 Kotdwar- Anand Vihar (Delhi) – Kotdwar train will provide a convenient overnight train service between the Kotdawara (Uttarakhand) and National Capital Delhi (Anand Vihar).
The train no. 14090 Kotdwar- Anand Vihar will depart from Kotdwara at 22:00 hours to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 04:35 hours the next morning. In return direction Train no. 14089 Anand Vihar- Kotdwar Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 21:45 hours to reach Kotdwara at 3:50 hours the next morning.
This train service will have stoppages at Meerut City, Muzaffarpur, Deoband, Roorkee, Laksar, Muazzampur Narayan, Najibabad, and Saneh Road in both directions. This will be a daily service for the passengers intending to travel in this train. This train will have AC 3rd tier, Sleeper Class, and General class accommodation.
While speaking on the occasion, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, expressed his gratitude towards the Hon’ble Minister of Railways Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Indian Railways for providing this much-awaited service for the people of Uttarakhand state.
General manager Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri welcomed the dignitaries present in the function and Divisional Regional Manager, Moradabad Shri Rajkumar Singh presented vote of thanks to the huge gathering present at the Kotdwar Station.
