SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 27: A 10 days Gandhi Shilp Bazar (GSB) sponsored by DC Handicrafts, Union Ministry of Textiles commenced today at Kashmir Haat Srinagar.

The Bazar was inaugurated by Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Director Handlooms and Handicrafts in presence of Parvaiz Sajad, Joint Director Handlooms & Handicrafts and Assistant Directors O/o the DC (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, HSC Srinagar.

GSB is being organized at various cities/metros in prominent places of the country to provide a domestic marketing platform to artisans throughout the country and to showcase exquisite crafts creations, traditional arts, and cultural heritage of the country.

Nearly 50 artisans from different parts of the country are participating in this fair for demonstration and sale of their artifacts.
