The tour was flagged off from Zaingeer on Monday morning in the presence of North Supervisor JKMPCL Junaid Shafi Palla.

Speaking on the occasion, Junaid said such programs are meant to provide training for the farmers affiliated with Dairy.

He said we don’t have facilities here, so we are sending them to outside states where they are getting proper training about the increase in milk production.

Junaid said that the Zaingeer department has succeeded in creating 30 societies in which employed youth are now successfully running their businesses and are able to generate around 4000 liters of milk daily, which is being stored at a bulk milk cooler in Zaingeer. From there, the milk is sent to different locations in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, farmers also showed their satisfaction over the efforts of the JKMPCL department for not only providing them employment but also helping them grow their businesses.
