UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 21: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a comprehensive meeting with RDD sector and allied department officers to assess the status of various schemes, including the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) and Aspirational Panchayat Development Programme (APDP) within the district.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, Block Development Officers and other concerned.

DC reviewed the physical and financial status of these schemes, encompassing District Capex, ADP, PMAY-G, Awaas plus Yojana, MGNREGA, Amrit Sarovar, and SBM-G. She urged the concerned officers to expedite ongoing work and ensure its timely completion. BDOs were instructed to achieve a 35% expenditure booking for the upcoming review meeting, closing the gap between allocated work and work yet to commence.

The DC delved into the particulars of works under the APDP in District Udhampur and emphasized the need to meet the program’s parameters while striving for 100% coverage.

The DC also reviewed the progress of work under PMAY-G and Awas Plus, instructing officials to expedite efforts to meet the specified targets within the given time frame. SDMs were directed to conduct weekly reviews with BDOs to ensure progress.

Furthermore, the status of SBM-G was assessed, with a specific directive to complete pending segregation sheds by October 31st.
