Pension Adalat held at Town Hall Kupwara

KUPWARA, OCTOBER 16: A Pension Adalat was today organized by office of Accountant General (A&E) J&K in collaboration with District Treasury Office Kupwara at Town Hall, here.
The Pension Adalat was presided over by Deputy Accountant General, Sudhakar Pinglay in presence of District Treasury Officer Kupwara, Mohammad Shafi Wani, DDOs and large number of pensioners.

On the occasion, the Deputy Accountant General along with his team of officers patiently heard the issues /grievances of pensioners/family pensioners and pension sanctioning authorities/DDOs and resolved several issues on the spot.

The DTO Kupwara expressed his gratitude towards the Deputy A.G for organizing the Pension Adalat in such a remote and far-flung district for redressal of the grievances.
Meanwhile, Deputy Accountant General appreciated the efforts of the District Administration Kupwara and District Treasury Officer Kupwara for smooth and successful conduct of the Pension Adalat fruitful.

Moreover, a good number of pensioners who had come from different areas of the district and attended the Pension Adalat thanked the Deputy AG for patiently hearing their issues.
Earlier, a detailed question-answer session was held in the Town Hall during which various pension related queries of the pensioners were answered by the experts of Finance department.
