The primary focus of this special camp was to address the unique needs and concerns of senior citizens. One of the standout features of this event was the on-the-spot sanctioning of pension cases, a critical step towards ensuring financial stability and security for the elderly.

Furthermore, a medical camp was set up, providing the senior citizens with a valuable opportunity for health checkups.

Another significant aspect of the event was the awareness drive about the rights of senior citizens. A representative from the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) played a pivotal role in this initiative by educating the senior citizens about their legal entitlements.

The DC said that it exemplified a commitment to improving the lives of senior citizens through financial support, healthcare, awareness, and empowerment.
