In a shocking incident, a youth has been arrested in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on charges of allegedly raping a minor girl.
The accused was apprehended by the police in connection with the heinous crime.
A senior police official told that the incident took place on Sunday and accused youth is currently in police custody and is being held behind bars.
The official stated that a case has been registered, with further investigation underway.
Arrested youth has been identified as Wasim Ahmad Parra son of Gh Qadir parra resident of Bazar Mohalla Sumbal.
This distressing incident marks the second such occurrence in Bandipora district within a week.(KS)
