Programme on World Mental health day An Awareness program on Internet addiction and Mental Health was organised by Civil defence Baramulla in collaboration with YBPF (Trust) held at St. Joseph’s Hr. Secondary School Baramulla
A large number of students including principal teachers Civil defence volunteers and SDRF team Baramulla participated in this program. Students were also given a self administered internet addition test questionnaire
He spoke at length on the ill effects of Internet Addiction and he put Emphasis through PowerPoint presentation where he put slides on display that how can we save out children from Internet Addiction and continuous use of mobile phones and it has paradox effects on the mindset on all of us.
He added that parents must come forward so that in the age group of 0 to 14 children be saved and demonstrated that how they can be kept at bay from such bad activities.
At the end of the programme the school students hailed the efforts of Dr.Mir Anayat and said that these kind of programme are the need of the hour as we can that Internet Addiction is somewhat like drug addiction and everybody must come forward and do his bit for the betterment of society.
The Chief Guest of the event was Dr Mir Anayat Chief Civil Defence Baramulla,who was accompanied by Deputy divisional warden Civil defence,sector warden civil defence, besides the team of sdrf department.
Also Present Principal,Staff Members,students, civil society members, representatives and other prominent sections of the society also attended the programme.
