People apprise officers about their issues & grievances for early redressal

KULGAM, OCTOBER, 04: The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

During the programme, functions were held at D.H.Pora, Kulgam and Devsar blocks of the district.

At the outset of the programme, action taken on grievances and issues which were raised in previous block Diwas was presented.

Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public for their timely redressal at all the three venues.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, presided over a grievance redressal camp at Kulgam and listened to grievances and issues of people.

Officers from District administration were also present during this block diwas.

A visiting delegation of people from Khee-Jogipora put forth a demand for installation of a Transformer in the village. Similarly, people from the Redwani area demanded macadamisation of the left out portion of Khudwani-Redwani road.

People from various areas also raised demand for augmentation of the LT power network in their areas.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.

ADC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot and assured that the rest of the genuine issues and grievances will be addressed in a time bound manner.
