Directs concerned officers to complete the works before commencement of winter season

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Wednesday inspected various projects being executed under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Sumbal Subdivision of the district.

The DC on the occasion inspected various water supply projects that are being executed under Jal Jeevan Mission in order to provide tap water to every household in the area.

It was informed that major portions of the water supply schemes have already been completed. It was further apprised that quality work and construction material is being ensured to construct sumps, filtration plants, reservoirs etc.

The DC directed the concerned authorities to pace up the execution process of the ongoing projects so that works are completed before the commencement of winter season.

On the occasion, the DC was accompanied by officers of sub divisional administration, including Tehsildar Sumbal, AEE Jal Shakti Department Sumbal, besides other experts and engineers from the development.
