Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh; ADC, Joginder Singh Jasrotia; CPO, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar and other district officers representing different departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, directives were issued to the concerned officers, emphasizing their commitment to impart skill training to 15,000 individuals and secure them employment in different self-employment government schemes.

To achieve this goal, officers were tasked with creating a comprehensive list of unemployed youth in the district and subsequently engaging them in departmental programs through the organization of Job Fairs after they have been trained.

Necessary instructions were given to the stakeholder departments responsible for skill-related activities.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted that the primary objective of skill development schemes should be the establishment of a robust skill ecosystem within the district. This ecosystem will facilitate maximum skilling opportunities for local youth, thereby reducing the need to seek employment outside the district.

The concerned departments were urged to conduct high-quality training programs in their respective areas. The Employment Department received specific instructions to organize Job Fairs upon the completion of skilling training, enabling the skilled individuals to secure gainful employment and lead respectable lives.
