Two Baramulla Residents Posing as Police Officers Arrested from Jammu Hotel

Two individuals from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, who were impersonating police officers, have been arrested in Jammu on Tuesday.

Reliable sources that the two fake cops were apprehended at a hotel in Jammu following a complaint from the hotel owner.

The individuals have been identified as Kaisar Jeelani, a Sopore resident, and Mohammad Tanveer, a resident of North Kashmir.

Reliable sources told news agency that both individuals had been previously arrested for their involvement in illegal activities in Kashmir division.

Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed to news agency Kashmir Scroll about this development and said a case has been registered and further investigating has been initiated.(KS)
