SHOPIAN, OCTOBER, 01: Under Swachhata Pakhwada, and on the occasion of Ek Tareek, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath, Information Department Shopian today organized a cleanliness drive at the office at Mini Secretariat, Shopian in employees of the department participated enthusiastically.
During this drive, employees cleaned the office rooms and disposed of the waste properly.
The drive was also carried out to disseminate a message to inculcate good habits of hygiene.
DIO Shopian, Showkat Hussain Ganie, led the sanitation exercise at Office.The employees also attended the cleanliness drive at Rambaira river which was led by Deputy Commissioner, Shopian.
On the occasion participants picked up the litter from the river and disposed it off properly.
A Shramadaan of one hour was conducted with an aim to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhiji, on his birth anniversary who espoused for Cleaner and healthier India.
