One dead, two injured in a Kishtwar road accident

One person was killed while two others sustained critical injuries in a road accident in Kishtwar village on Thursday evening.

Reports reaching said that an accident took place at Lonepura Dedpeth area in Kishtwar when one private car (Maruti 800) bearing registration number JK06 2728 met with an incident resulting in critical injuries to three persons.

However, all the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Scroll and identified the deceased as Tahir, while the other two injured were identified as Asgar Hussain and Soffaullah. The officer said that both the injured were shifted to the district hospital in Kishtwar for advanced treatment. (KS)
