BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 28: The Department of Animal Husbandry Bandipora in collaboration with the Lead District Bank Bandipora today organized the weekly Kisan Credit Card (KCC) camp, as part of the Nationwide KCC Campaign at Bandipora.
During the camp, a total of 23 KCC cases, 23 PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana), and 23 PMSBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana) cases were sponsored.
Also, awareness regarding different departmental schemes was provided to farmers including IDDS, IPDP, HADP, etc.
Farmers were also informed about the management of the KCC accounts and the benefits it entails especially in improving the socio-economic conditions of the farmers.
