SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 27: The School Education Department has undertaken the remarkable “Shanti Yatra” initiative, which has been spreading the message of peace and Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings across all districts of the Jammu division. The journey commenced on 09 September 2023 from Poonch and has since been an inspiring symbol of harmony and unity.

Today, a significant milestone was achieved as the symbol of peace was ceremoniously handed over to District Samba. The Chief Education Officer Kathua, in a heartfelt gesture, passed on the torch of peace to District Samba at Kootah More.
