Karnah Kupwara: In a heartfelt initiative under the banner of the Indian Army’s “Operation Sadbhavana,” a comprehensive healthcare camp encompassing medical, gynecological, dental, and veterinary services was organized in the remote and picturesque village of Jabri, nestled in the Tangdhar region.
The primary goal of this noble endeavor was to extend essential medical assistance to the residents of Jabri, an isolated village that often faces challenges in accessing healthcare facilities.
Under the auspices of the Thangdhar Brigade, a unit committed to humanitarian projects as part of “Operation Sadbhavana,” a multifaceted medical camp was established in the serene village of Jabri, situated in the pristine landscapes of Tangdhar, Jammu and Kashmir.
The camp offered an array of services, including medical, gynecological, dental, and veterinary Out-Patient Treatments (OPD) for both the villagers and their cherished livestock. The medical team, comprising dedicated professionals from the Army, included a medical officer, a veterinary officer, and a dental officer. They were complemented by Dr. Shabeena Rasool and Dr. Javed Lon, veterinary specialists from Civil Hospital Tangdhar. The camp was open throughout the day, ensuring that maximum people could avail themselves of its benefits. Beneficiaries underwent screening for prevalent health concerns such as Typhoid, Diabetes, Malaria, and various blood-related disorders.
