On this report, case FIR.No. 144/2023 U/S 457,380/IPC was registered at PS Magam and investigation taken up. During the course of investigation, strenuous efforts were made and many suspects with past criminal records from different areas and outside District Budgam were put to questioning. During sustained questioning, three suspects namely
1. Mohd Yaseen Hajam @ Cobra S/o Ghulam Mustafa Hajam R/o Trikolbal Pattan*
2. Javid Ahmad Sheikh S/o Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh R/o Churpora Narbal
3. Muzaffar Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Mohd Dar R/O Reshipora Hanjivera Pattan admitted their involvement in the theft and accordingly all the stolen goods were recovered on their disclosure. The accused have been arrested in the instant case and further investigation into the case is going on.
