DC Kulgam reviews modalities for proper implementation of ABDP in Manzgam block

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 21: In order to review modalities and action plan for smooth implementation of Aspirational Block Development programme (ABDP) for Manzgam Block in Kulgam district based on 39 indicators, a meeting of officers was today held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at mini-secretariat, here.

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held and officers were apprised about their targets to be achieved under 39 indicators based on Health, Education, Agriculture, Water Resources, Power, Agriculture, social development, Irrigation and other indicators.

The DC took a comprehensive review of all the indicators, department -wise and emphasized that initiatives need to be taken by all departments to reach 100% saturation under these 39 indicators in block Manzgam.

He also instructed the concerned officers to chalk out a proper and comprehensive strategy of ABDP for Manzgam Block after SWOT Analysis for properly identifying and analyzing strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of their sectors in convergence and in collaboration among themselves.

The DC impressed upon the concerned officers to ensure that targets fixed could be achieved within the stipulated time frame.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, DPO Nisar Ahmad, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACP Sharjeel Ali, DIO, CEO, Ex. Engineers of Jal Shakti, KPDCL and other district and Block officers.
