Awareness camp on PMEGP held at ITI Ramban

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 21: District Industries Centre Ramban, on Thursday organized a seminar cum awareness camp, here in Industrial Training Institute, Ramban to create awareness among the trainees regarding PMEGP scheme being implemented by the Industries & Commerce Department and District Industries Centre.

The seminar started with the welcome address delivered by Mukhtar Ahmed from ITI Ramban.

In his address, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ravinder Kumar Anand highlighted the schemes being implemented by the Department to encourage the youth to become job creators instead of job seekers.

Block Investigator, DIC Ramban, Ravi Danaishwar Singh elaborated the procedure for availing benefits of PMEGP scheme through a PowerPoint presentation. He sensitized the participants about procedure and uploading of application forms, besides the benefits of enrolment with the DIC. The trainees of the Industrial Training Institute were told about various benefits and subsidies they can get to start their own ventures by availing financial assistance under the PMEGP Scheme in manufacturing and service sectors.

Awareness regarding PM Vishwakarma scheme was also imparted to the participants during the programme.

The aspiring trainees were motivated by the scheme and expressed willingness to avail the benefits offered by the Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) after completion of their courses.
