Sep 20:A Sucessful Summer Festival was inaugurated by Worthy DC Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar with an aim to revive tourism in the famous hotspot of Rafiabad.
Activities focused on tourists like adventure, and eco-tourism were the highlights of the festival which also showcases the art and culture of Kashmir besides offering the traditional Kashmiri cuisines.
DC Baramulla while addressing to people said that we have spotted many tourist destination across Baramulla including Gurduwaras, and some other religious places also for the same.
We have also picked offbeat destinations in recent past. There is a lot of scope for adventure tourism here. And we have assessed the infrastructure requirement.
A number of activities were part of today’s summer festival, we have a group of national and local trekkers and they have been flagged off as well.
