An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Uri Hathlanga area of North Kashmir Baramula district on Saturday, officials said .
They told that a joint of team of police, Army and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of Terrorists launched search operation in the area.
They said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, hiding terrorists fired upon the party, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.
They said that the exchange of fire is on in the area and two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area— (KS)
