Animal Husbandry Department Ganderbal organizes daylong workshop on various schemes

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 16: The Department of Animal Husbandry district Ganderbal today organised a workshop regarding awareness of different schemes at mini secretariat, here.

The workshop was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.

On the occasion, the participants were made aware about the schemes like Intensive Dairy Development Program, Intensive Poultry Development Program and emphasis was given on Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP).

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC urged all the participants, especially local youth to come forward and take benefit of these schemes, implemented with the aim to provide livelihood opportunities to the educated unemployed youth of the district.

Furthermore the participants were provided detailed information about the benefits, features, and procedures involved in obtaining a Kisan Credit Card.

The workshop was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ganderbal, Dr Ruhe Badakshi; Block Veterinary Officer Kangan, Dr Majid Ali Tak; Block Veterinary Officer Lar, Dr Sheikh Syed Arif and other concerned.
