SIA raids houses of OGWs in Reasi

The State Investigation Agency yesterday conducted raids at the houses of three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Terrorists at Mahore and Pouni areas of Reasi district.

They said that the OGWs whose houses were searched include Sardar Din son of Amkalla resident of Khour tehsil Mahore presently putting up at Aidhara Khour, Mohammad Shafi son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Dubri tehsil Mahore, Zubair Ahmed son of Mohd Hanief resident of Dehari, tehsil Pouni.

The raids were conducted following reports that the OGWs were helping the Terrorists in carrying out their activities and were also using different Apps from Android mobile phones.

They were also in touch with Pakistan-based Terrorists and handlers with a view to revive terrorism in Reasi district.

Raids were conducted after obtaining warrants from the court in the presence of Executive Magistrate. During searches, the SIA teams recovered electronic gadgets, documents etc.(KS)
