Fire Department Conducted Awareness programme Along LOC Teethwal Kupwara

On 13 September 2023 Fire and Emergency Services Department Conducted Fire Safety Awareness Program at Govt Higher Secondary School Teethwal Karnah which is Located Along the Line of Control.

On the Directions of Director General Fire and Emergency Services Jammu and Kashmir, ADGP Shri Alok Kumar IPS, and Assistant Director Fire and Emergency Services Command Kupwara, Er Mohd Arif Mir, the department Conducted a highly informative and engaging awareness program on fire safety.

The program, held at Govt Higher Secondary School Teethwal Karnah Command Kupwara, fire officials shared practical tips and guidance with the students. They emphasized the importance of taking necessary precautions before the fire department arrives at the scene and provided valuable insights on how to contact the fire service. Additionally, the officials also educated the attendees about the actions to be taken during both natural and man-made disasters.

The initiative received immense appreciation from the Higher Secondary school
Principal, Abdul Rashid Dar along with other staff members and students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Fire and Emergency Services Department for Conducting such an impactful program.

The dedicated team from the Fire Department, led by Divisional Fire Officer Headquarters Kupwara, Shri Hazoor Ahmed Khan, included members Ghulam Mohd Sheikh, Sajad Ahmed, Ishfaq Ahmed, and Faisel Maqsood.

This program exemplifies the department’s commitment to raising awareness about fire safety and empowering individuals to respond effectively during emergencies. It is a commendable effort towards ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
