Met DDC members, locals; redressed public issues on spot

SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb today visited Imam Sahib tehsil of the district to take spot assessment of the issues concerning public, besides taking stock of ongoing developmental works in the area.

The DC interacted with the locals of the area and enquired about the status of various developmental and welfare services.

DDC Members, Ajaz Ahmed Mir and Jan Mohammad also met DC and interacted on various public interest issues.

The DC, while reviewing the status of road infrastructure in Imam Sahib, resolved a dispute on spot which was impeding the road construction work.

Several other concerns flagged-off by people and public representatives were addressed by the DC on the spot while some were referred to concerned executing agencies and authorities for redressal. Directions were issued to officers of R&B and Revenue for redressal of public issues at the earliest to ease the life of the general masses.

Tehsildar, Imam Sahib, AEE, R&B and other concerned were present on the occasion.
