ADDC, CEO receive Gandhi Mashal at Wanpoh

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 11: The District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with Chief Education Office Kulgam today organised Shanti March by taking Mashal in the form of March from Wanpoh to Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kulgam.

The Shanti march was organised to spread the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi to masses and students were costumed in iconic Mahatma Gandhi dress.

The Shanti march event started at Wanpoh Kulgam where the Chief Education Officer Anantnag and Principal Govt Higher Secondary Wanpoh handed over the Gandhi Mashal to the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri.

The Shanti Yatra Mashal covered HSS Qaimoh, HSS Danow Bogund, Aisha Ali Academy, Crescent Public School Kulgam and other institutions of education Zone Qaimoh and some institutions of Zone Kulgam.

Students Teachers and HOIs were part of the Yatra.

Later, this Shanti march reached to Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kulgam and CEO informed that Peace march will continue tomorrow and it will start from GGHSS Kulgam at 09:30 am sharp.
