DC reviews progress of works under District Capex Budget, ADP 2023-24 at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 11: A meeting was convened today at the DC Office Complex in Udhampur, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, to assess the progress of projects approved under Area Development Plan of District Capex Budget 2023-24.

The meeting also examined the status of tendering processes, work allotment, project commencement and completion, as well as the expenses incurred by the Rural Development Department and other sectors.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Shyam Singh; Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar; District Programme Officer for Poshan, Subash Dogra; ACD, Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, and other departmental officers.

The meeting included a comprehensive review of projects, categorized by sector and block, with respective district officers. The Officials were urged to expedite the tendering and allotment of pending projects within their departments to ensure timely execution.

DC Saloni Rai stressed the importance of mobilizing resources and closely monitoring the performance of field personnel to ensure swift and quality completion of projects on the ground.
