Warns against taking up construction work without proper permissions
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 05: The Enforcement Wing of Lake Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA) under the supervision of Enforcement Officer has undertaken a demolition drive in the areas of Doji Mohalla NFR, Habak area, Nigeen, Boulevard and Dal.
During the drive, several illegal constructions were demolished/ removed which includes one 3rd storey, 02 tin wallings, one shop, one hut, one partition wall, and Net coverings.
Also illegal earth filling was also removed in the Nigeen area. Further legal action against the violators was also initiated.
Meanwhile, people living within LCMA Jurisdiction are time and again warned not to resort to any illegal construction/ encroachments within LCMA Jurisdiction. Further, before taking any construction work in hand they are requested to get proper building permission from the competent Authority, otherwise, strict action shall be taken against the violators.
