DC Budgam distributes job cards, water testing kits, pension sanctions to various beneficiaries

Budgam , September,05:- In connection with ongoing “Bhrashtachar Mukht J&K Week” celebrations, which started form 4th sept 2023, a significant event unfolded in District Budgam, Jammu & Kashmir, where in worthy Chief Secretary Dr. A. k Mehta interacted with various stakeholders/ beneficiaries of District Budgam through virtual mode .
The programme was organised by District administration Budgam under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC ) Budgam Akshay Labroo (IAS).
A huge gathering of beneficiaries of various schemes were present on the occasion.
This event witnessed an interactive session involving numerous stakeholders from the region.
The Chief Secretary engaged in fruitful discussions with these stakeholders, highlighting the importance of eradicating corruption and promoting transparency in governance.
Following the enriching interaction,
Deputy Commissioner Budgam interacted with all the stakeholders present.
He paid a patient hearing to all the participants and assured full support of District administration in resolving the genuine concerns.
On the occasion, he distributed job cards processed online through Jan Sugam App to workers under MGNERGA in collaboration with RDD dept. Budgam .
On spot sanctioned pension cases were given to old age beneficiaries in collaboration with social welfare department.
He provided essential field test kits to deserving beneficiaries under JJM .
He appealed them for its use , so that clean , potable drinking water should reach the people .
DC Budgam emphasised the need for extensive outreach programs to raise public awareness regarding eradication of corruption.
The DC said , District administration is Committed and reaffirmed its dedication to the principles of transparency and equitable development.
The “Bhrashtachar Mukht J&K Week” celebrations represent a collective effort to combat corruption and foster accountability in the Union Territory. Such endeavors are integral to ensuring a just and prosperous future for Jammu & Kashmir.
